Nightingale, Let Me Use Your Voice

Nightingale, Let Me Use Your Voice!

Since mine will never be their choice,

Nightingale, let me use your voice.

Tell them that I have stories too.

I know they have plenty to do,

But my heart has plenty to share.

I promise it all will be bare.

I enjoy my soliloquies.

I utter them sometimes like quiz.

But, I’m seeking a receptor.

I would love a Philosopher.

Together we’d break the frontier,

Because she’d see in me a peer.

It’s true that I have an accent,

But I don’t have to be absent.

Trust me; they won’t listen to me,

Just because I’m different from thee.

Tell me what’s up with such difference.

Isn’t it time to break the fence?

Nightingale, why are they so cold?

What if all my thoughts were like gold?

I know your music is magic,

But hmmm! Be aware of static.

Lots of gadgets of every kind.

Get the attention of their mind.

Myself I just want to express

Of the world amid the clear mess.

Because, I have feelings like them.

But, no, they prefer the mayhem.

I’ll never get an occasion

For a succinct conversation.

I thought that it would be a cinch

To communicate from the bench!

Is not only theirs the struggle.

Is found everywhere the battle.

Something’s missing I really think.

Nightingale, help me fill the blanc.

I need you to ask them whether

Me they just don’t want to answer

When I send an invitation,

Or they fear communication.

Can’t I have a healthy dialogue?

But they’ve got time to plug and blog!

I was born to communicate,

To discover self in a state

Of connection among brothers.

But, they’re only building borders.

I’m trying to pull them closer.

They refuse to seat together.

Wouldn’t every life be joyful,

If we made it more colorful?

Wouldn’t we all rejoice in peace,

Wouldn’t all filthy judgements cease,

Nightingale, in this huge nation,

If we used interconnection?

I am a Cosmopolitan, a unique character from the inside out. I have 12 fingers (6 in each hand). I believe that we are one, everything is interrelated, and "there's a Natural Mystic blowing through the air" like sang Bob Marley & the Wailers. Like everyone else I have had my highs and my lows, but I have always learned and strived to live by the words of the philosopher Plato, who had said: "be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle." I wrote in one of my poems "Nature Has Everything In Place": "To philosophize I should try. It teaches me to live and die. To die's not the end of a guy. It's an ability to fly."
